LPG EndermologieŽ is the newest noninvasive treatment for cellulite. Originally from Europe and now approved by the FDA, this exciting, safe, no-pain treatment can give you dramatic improvement in your hips, thighs, and buttocks. It even works for love handles and sagging abdomens-wherever you have the dimples and cottage cheese of cellulite. Since cellulite is resistant to diet, exercise, and even liposuction, this non-surgical, painless, effective process is truly the best

EndermologieŽ: this non-invasive system is designed to reduce the appearance of cellulite and improve skin tone without pain or inconvenience. The technique was developed in France nineteen years ago and treatments are available in United States of America, South America, Japan, Central Europe, Great Britain and, of course, South Africa.
Houston EndermologieŽ utilizes aspiration, produced by a vacuum pump, to suck the skin up between two motorized rollers into a fold or pleat. This fold is then kneaded by the two rollers attached to the treatment head. Because the suction level is electronically controlled, the rollers constantly adjust themselves to the thickness of the patient's skin. As the treatment sessions progress, the skin becomes more supple and elastic, causing the rollers to adapt and reach increasingly deep layers.
EndermologieŽ improves the circulation by increasing blood and oxygen flow to the suffocated cellulite tissues and thereby accelerating the drainage of the stagnant waste products of metabolism via the lymphatic system and the fine blood capillaries. The metabolism of the fat cells is improved, encouraging them to lose some of their contents and thus shrink in size.
The Houston Endermologie course involves the minimum of ten to twenty treatment sessions of 35 minutes duration.
Endermologie was used initially to treat scars in patients who had suffered burns, to soften the scars and improve elasticity and mobility of the scarred skin. An additional, unexpected benefit was soon noted; an improvement in the appearance of cellulite. Houston Endermologie has been approved by the FDA in the USA. Since being launched there , patients have been queuing up for what has been described as the 'most exciting breakthrough in body contouring since the invention of liposuction by a French surgeon, Dr Y Illouz'. Dr Illouz currently uses Endermologie in conjunction with liposuction, to smooth, tone and decrease post-operative swelling. A number of plastic surgeons are offering Endermologie as an alternative to liposuction , for those patients who feel more comfortable with a non-invasive procedure.
Got Aches and Pains?
Houston Endermologie can correct muscular and soft-tissue problems caused by adhesion formation from acute injuries, repetitive trauma and/or constant pressure and tension as it simultaneously enhances circulation, reduces muscle tension, and removes lactic acid and other inflammatory toxins. As the therapeutic uses of the machine are many and varied, a comprehensive book of specific treatment protocols have been compiled, including:
Muscular and Soft Tissue Treatments possible with Houston EndermoTherapy
What is Houston EndermoTherapy?
Regardless of the many specializations of our field, the common denominator in our profession is the prevention, assessment and treatment of dysfunctions or disorders arising from the structures or functions of the spine, nervous system and joints.
Houston EndermoTherapy is an integral part of the chiropractic profession as it treats the very foundation of all organisms: connective tissue. Interacting with both the body’s vascular and nervous systems, connective tissue provides shielding and support to the skeletal system. EndermoTherapy thus serves as a support mechanism for subluxations adjustments; the medical device we use- manufactured by LPG One, Inc.- is currently the only FDA approved machine for this rehabilitative and preventive soft tissue therapy.
The LPG Group and its machines have a presence in over 70 countries and are well recognized in both the medical and paramedical communities as the world’s leader in the treatment of connective tissue.
Long-term, vigorous scientific investigations aimed at exploring the mechanism of its actions, physiological effects and applications have all scientifically validated the reliability, efficacy and safety of EndermoTherapy.
Prestigious academic and clinical medical teams around the world, such as Vanderbilt University, UCLA, Brussels University, Rome University, The Burn Rehabilitation Center in France, Montpellier University, Paris University, the Myology Institut in Paris, Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco, Genova University, and the Belgium La Sapienza University have all recently participated in such studies.
A small thematic sampling the studies concerned scars, burned tissues, fibromyalgia, collagen production, the blood, venous and lymphatic flow (which triggers the reabsorption of edema), scleroderma, Dupuytren’s contracture, and the prevention and recovery of spinal injuries.
EndermoTherapy is a recognized treatment solution for rhumatology, traumatology, phlebology, peripheral neurology, thoracic pathologies, sports rehabilitation, scars, burns and lymphology.

Endermologie & Liposuction
Post-Operative Programs for accelerated healing and optimal results
Endermologie is a non-invastive procedure that feels like a massage and has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of cellulite. The process results in smoothing, toning and firming skin, while flushing out toxins and excess fluid in the lymphatic system and connective tissues. It has been used successfully for years in Europe and in the U.S. to help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
In the healing process after liposuction, the body can temporarily appear swollen, bumpy, or irregular. The Post-Lipo Endermologie program involves a series of treatments which speed healing, quickly and significantly reduce bruising and swelling, and help to smooth and tone the skin while contouring the body.
These treatments significantly increase circulation, allowing connective tissues to release built up fluids, water retention and toxins in the system. As a result, the collagen function of the skin is restored. It is important to note that a healthy lifestyle and diet further contribute to successful results. New Forme Houston always emphasizes that moderation is key!
Q: Will my body be swollen or bumpy after my lipsuction?
A: Swelling is very common immediately after surgery while your body is healing, as are minor bumps and irregularity. Don't be alarmed, this is simply your body healing from surgery! Regular endermologie treatments during the first eight weeks after surgery will reduce swellling and smooth out the irregularity in your tissue and skin. This helps to contour the body, thus maximizing the results of your liposuction.
Q: Do I have to follow a strict diet?
A: As a commitment to yourself, take time to learn about refining your health and nutritional habits, which are critical to achieving optimal results and can act as an important healing agent. Here are the basics:
Be sure to check with your doctor before beginning any nutritional supplement program.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is cellulite?
Cellulite is a skin condition that affects more than 90% of women. It is the "orange peel" skin most women begin to notice in their 20s. It tends to worsen with age and is related to hormonal variations. Resulting from circulation impairment on a micro level, cellulite is a vicious circle involving abnormal fluid retention in connective tissue and enlargement of fat cells.
Does it hurt? Are there any side effects?
The sensation is similar to a deep massage and most clients find it quite pleasant. The strength of the treatment can be individually adjusted to your comfort level.
What will I feel like afterwards?
Most clients report a feeling of relaxation, an increase in energy and a suppression of their appetites. Since the Lymphatic system is stimulated, it is recommended that you drink at least two liters of water every day during the duration of your treatment in order to aid in elimination of the mobilized fat. Minor temporary bruising may occur.
How long does a session last? Do you just work on my problem areas?
Sessions last an average of 35 minutes. Your problem areas are focused on, but time is given to other areas to stimulate general circulation and elimination.
How many sessions before I see results?
The average women will need 14 to 20 treatments to achieve optimal results. Treatments are generally 35 minutes in duration, at least twice a week.
Based on the individuals needs, the quantity of treatments will vary. It is typical for an individual to require between 15 and 20 treatments with many clients seeing improvements in as few as 6 to 7 treatments. Like massage the results of Houston Endermologie cellulite treatment will continue to build with every consecutive treatment. Overall results may be influenced by the such factors as age, hormones, weight and lifestyle. Individuals report their skin feeling tighter, appearing smoother, and their clothes fitting more loosely.
As with results you see when working out your deeper fat layer and muscles at the gym on regular basis, individuals will need follow-up Endermologie treatments in order to sustain the results.
Once a month follow-up treatments are recommended to maintain results.
Does this treatment work on men also?
Definitely ~ especially for problem areas such as "love handles", stomachs and loose pectoral tissues.
How long do the results last?
For several months up to a few years, depending on age, lifestyle, and hormonal changes. Once-a-month maintenance sessions are recommended after completion of the initial sessions, which maintains the results and keeps the toxins and abnormal fluid from building back up in the connective tissues.
Why are photos taken before and after the session of treatments?
Photos as well as measurements are taken to provide an accurate record of improvements and to help the Endermologie practitioner provide better treatments through comparative analysis. Please plan on wearing the same underwear that you wore the very first photo session, for each photo session. There are a minimum of three photo sessions. The first treatment, the middle treatment and for your final treatment.
Do diet and exercise get rid of cellulite?
Since cellulite is a complex problem, it must be addressed from the subcutaneous layer, to act on fluid retention. This fluid retention is abnormal. It is not the kind of fluid you would lose by exercising - it is a combination of fluid and toxins that have built up in the connective tissues. Whereas both diet and exercise affect your muscles and deep fat, they fail to act on the underlying cause of cellulite in the superficial tissue of your skin. Even women who exercise regularly and follow a low fat-diet may still have cellulite. Think of it as - you go to the gym to exercise your muscles and deep fat, and you come to us for endermologie to exercise your skin.
Does this replace exercise?
No. In fact, it is highly recommended that you add diet and exercise to the routine you follow while undergoing Endermologie® treatments. In most cases, this improves results. It really works on a different area than exercise ~ which effects the deeper structures like deep fat and muscles, which is why even women who work out 5 days a week still have cellulite, because they haven't given their skin a work out.
How long do I have to wait after liposuction or a tummy tuck to receive treatment?
This depends, but usually you can start once the compressive garments come off. However, Endermologie ® is an excellent way to prepare the skin for liposuction or a tummy tuck before surgery ~ allowing for optimal results.
Does the machine tone the skin? Will I lose weight?
You will most likely notice an improvement in skin tone after using the LPG machine. Appearance of stretch marks and loose skin may be improved. It is not a weight loss machine. However, many clients report being able to lose weight, especially fat weight, more easily while using the machine than they ever could before. Our clients also report a suppression in their appetites.
Endermologie® for Athletes
Appropriate physical training of the athlete favors fluidity in action. By working on the fascia, Endermologie prepares the body for physical exercise and allows for better management of athletic performance.
When used during periods of intense physical exercise, Endermologie helps the athlete to manage exertion and thus take greater profit from physical training. Performances increase in terms of strength and power.
Based on the metabolism and recovery from stiffness and muscular acidosis, the Endermologie effectively meets the athlete's demands, bringing fuller and faster muscular recovery.
Metabolic recovery: Research on electromyographical and biomechanical approach of muscular fatigability, 1996.
In this study, it was proved that the Endermologie Sports treatment improves the transformation of products in an anaerobic metabolism (lactic acid, protons, etc.) acting on muscle fatigue.
Recovery from stiffness: Research on the effects of a new massage technique on recovery from stiffness, 1998.
This study puts forth that after an excessive effort generating stiffness, subjects present a decrease in muscular potential by 10%. Using common techniques, 5 days on average are needed to recover initial power, whereas with the Endermologie Sports technique, 98% of muscular potential are recovered after 2 days. Greater comfort and absence of post-exercise edemas are also noted.
Recovery and optimization of soccer player
performances: Research on the effects of Endermologie Sports on certain parameters of the motion performances in top soccer players, 1999.
This study was carried out with a population of soccer players and showed, after 3 weeks of treatment with Endermologie Sports, a significant increase in performances in terms of strength, power and bursts of strength compared to an identical non-treated control population.
Thousands of practitioners use the Endermologie Sports technique everyday. Some of them, through their sports activities, have been able to validate this technique during major sports events, thus proving the contribution of the Endermologie Sports technique to the victory of many athletes.

Everyday bloat is downright uncomfortable! It's commonly caused by water retention or gas -- a build-up of air in the intestines and stomach that can give you the feeling of a distended abdomen.
If your condition is chronic, speak with your doctor to make sure it's not a serious GI concern such as celiac disease (gluten intolerance), Crohn's disease, or ulcerative colitis. Other less serious issues to investigate include lactose intolerance, constipation, and/or irritable bowel syndrome.
If you're certain it's everyday bloat, these 7 tips can help you feel significantly better:
