Massage for Couples Class

2 Hour Class 160 per couple. |
Class session is with one therapist- Learn basic strokes and how to work on your
partner from an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist. Learn to give and receive
nurturing, intentional touch with your partner in this two+ hour class. You will learn
simple techniques based on Swedish massage, traditional bodywork and shiatsu.
Explore new ways to give nurturing intentional touch to your partner.
Your session will include how to give each other a full-body massage in this hands-on class.
We keep lecture to a minimum and emphasize the massage techniques and communication
skills that you will need to explore this new way of relating and relaxing.

T'ai Chi Class |
Level I class: Introduction to the art that will increase your strength and
flexibility, improve your posture, decrease musculoskeletal pain and discomfort
due to tight or weak muscles. This is an ongoing class in which you will learn
this ancient body exercise program which can be done at home, produces results you
can see and feel, and has lifelong rewards. In a nutshell, t'ai chi can keep you
happy and healthy. Effective for relaxation, health and fitness as well as being fun.
Scientific studies have shown that t'ai chi is good for your health, improving
conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, respiratory diseases, and
other chronic diseases. It also improves balance, prevents falls, helps posture,
and builds up immunity to disease. Studies also so t'ai chi improves mental illness,
depression, and stress.

Hot Stone Massage
Learn the basics of hot stone massage therapy and how to create a gentle, relaxing and effective session for your client. We will show you the benefits and contraindications of using hot stones while providing full-body demonstrations to help you integrate one of the most requested spa services into your massage therapy routine. LMT's will also be shown the equipment needed, how to set up a work area, the techniques involved, how to use the stones safely and effectively. The classroom gives you tools and flexibility to create your own style and routine.

This workshop provides you with 6 hours with the instructor for basic training or build your own class.
Four hours of classroom instruction minimum.
Eight additional hours may be purchased for an additional $600.00 for advanced 1:1 intensive follow-up training.
